Trapping                            call or e-mail for prices 845-352-1147

SQUIRRELS    RACCOONS     SKUNKS    GROUNDHOGS

Trapping animals takes some patience and persistence. We have developed a process we feel is both efficient and humane. To expedite the service (this does require some help from the customer) we have compiled a list of instructions. The basic method is the same for all animals, the aspects that vary are; the size or style trap, the bait used in the trap, if pre-baiting is required and the placement of the trap.

bullet The trap must be CHECKED DAILY by someone at the house (if you cannot check the trap yourself, i.e. infirm or handicapped, other arrangements can be made for an additional fee)
bullet When an animal is caught, call the office, we will come take the animal away and reset a trap if needed
bullet If you check the trap and the bait is gone or the trap is sprung without catching something, call us. We will come to reset or re-bait the trap and re-evaluate the situation as needed
bullet IF NOTHING IS CAUGHT AFTER 5 DAYS CALL the office, we will come check the trap and make any changes that may be needed
bullet Points of entry can be closed only after we are sure that all the animals have been caught (closing the opening is not part of the service but we may be able to give a referral)

bullet DO NOT CLOSE THE OPENING UNTIL THERE ARE NO MORE ANIMALS- closing the entry points prematurely will result in damage as the animal tries to get back in or out of the house

The office is manned 8:30 am - 5pm Monday through Friday (Saturday mornings as well during warm weather) and the answering machines are checked during the off hours

Note:  Never approach an injured or disoriented animal, wild or domestic. You cannot predict their behavior and you cannot know what, if any, communicable diseases they may carry. When dealing with unfamiliar mammals (cats, dogs, raccoons, bats, skunks)  the possibility of
rabies must always be considered.
